Congratulations Lindsay and Steve! Lindsay and Steve are engaged to married next summer. We went down to LoDo to get these images. They are high school sweethearts which I thought was really awesome. And Steve just got a job as a firefighter in Thornton! This photo shoot was really laid back and a lot of fun. I can't wait to photograph their wedding at Mile High Station next summer!

Well I couldn't pick just three favorites from Kristen's senior portraits....so you get six! This was an awesome photo shoot! Two hours, some rain, and about 400 pictures later this is what I got. We went to Lyons to shoot, getting a lot of outdoor scenes...which are secretly my favorite to shoot. Maybe because if I was on the other side of the lens that's where I'd want to be. Congratulations to Kristen graduating class of 2010!

Trevor and Christine had their engagement pictures taken at the Orchard Shopping Center. These are a few of my favorites. They are a lot of fun to work with and they take amazing pictures considering it was like 95 degrees that day! I loved going through their images and finding pictures like these. These images make me smile. They are so obviously in love. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next summer!

Congratulations Josh and Jolee! I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful this wedding was. I felt so privileged to be there to witness their marriage along with their friends and family. Every once in a while you attend an exceptional wedding and you realize how special and beautiful it is to marry the one you love. What an awesome couple with wonderful friends and family! And I will say they know how to have fun! I had so much fun...and I was working. Oh and Telluride is my new favorite place. The second I got home I told my husband we are moving there someday! So to sum up this wedding....it was a magical location, with a beautiful couple, and awesome friends and family. What more could you ask for?
Meet Beckham. One of the funiest guys I have ever photographed. I was laughing so hard at him sometimes it was hard to keep the lens upright! He thought getting his picture taken was hilarious and so did I. Well at least happy babies make for great images! Deni and Brain, you've got a great kid!

Um.. is it me or does it totally look like he's levitating!!

Sometimes it's hard to be the belle of the ball.

A first dance...

Congratulations Anne and Kyle!

Kyle and Anne Perkins got married June 20th in down town Denver. They had a short ceremony where Anne was told she "could now kiss the groom!" That was a fun twist. The reception followed with lots of dancing. Kyle and Anne are good family friends and I was more than happy to take pictures for them at the reception. Check out the one I captured of my nephew Cale levitating...or so it seems! He danced for 2 hours straight. And of course his favorite person in the room was Anne the bride. Just like everyone else that night!

Smokey Mountains

I got the opportunity to visit the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee last week. I was amazed at how beautiful it was there. We saw four black bears just driving through the park. I will definitely be going back (with my telephoto lens) to take more pictures in the future. Until then enjoy my favorite shots!

Maggie's Graduation

Maggie is a very talented golfer and has secured a full ride scholarship to Lipscomb University in Nashville this fall. I went to the golf course with her and took a few shots, along with her graduation photographs. To see all of Maggie's photographs go to http://www.mystudio-s.com/ and look under Online Ordering. The password for her website is "Lipscomb".

Ok long time no talk, but I am back now with lots of fun pics. I got the opportunity to shoot Kelly O'Brien's portraits down at Cherry Creek mall in Denver. I think we got some pretty cool shots. And I also think Kelly missed her calling as a model. She's super tall with long lines...great for photographs. Anyways check out my favorites.

Steamboat

Bill and I got to spend the weekend in Steamboat skiing! We got dumped on all weekend...but the snow was pretty wet and heavy which made for some interesting skiing. We happened to run into some of Bill's friends from Diamond Peaks Ski Patrol. Skiing with 10 teleskiers when your the only alpine skier is pretty interesting too. It was also our first anniversary....yea! So here's couple pics from our weekend!

Welcome to Studio S

I've been working hard on the Studio S website lately...so check it out! I just got back from Texas photographing the Matthew's and Skelton's kids. They were a lot of fun and very photogenic. I have another photoshoot coming up this weekend with one of my good friends Jeremy Carson. I'm looking forward to it since portraits are my favorite!
